OT: Fishtown's Carlson's Fishery being run by U of M grad

I've been buying whitefish and smoked salmon from this family business for many years, but did not know it is now being run by a fifth-generation Carlson who has a Michigan degree.

One of my very favorite places on earth. My grandpa taught me to fish on the dock directly behind Carlson's. So glad Fishtown seems to be on the rebound after a few dicey years.

Leland is a nice little jewel. Visited there about 10 yrs ago and they were fundraising to save some of the Fishtown structures, and probably still are.  It's like it's frozen in time.
