OT: First Game is Arizona ASU stadium

Submitted by Wolverman on

So I never been to a football game out west , but i scored 4 pretty good tickets ( least i think they are good never been to Sun Devil Stadium Section 10 row 21) right off the goal line. Has anyone been to a game there if so how does the game view?

This will also be my sons first college game. Wish me luck tho because i'm hoping his 2nd is either Bama vs. U of M or a bowl game this year!

I was there for the Michigan-Nebraska Fiesta Bowl.  I scalped some tickets when we parked for face value (we could have found some for much cheaper it turned out).  We sat with Nebraska fans around the goal line, probably higher up than where you are and the view was fine.  Only time I have ever seen Michigan win a bowl game in person (0-4 in Rose Bowls).

As chester put it, the scenery(female wise) there will be unbelievable as I attended ASU (still bigger M fan) and consider it one step below heaven. The tailgating and the overall experience has a little left to be desired however, especially compared to a B1G atmosphere. ASU never sells out and the following is just not there in the state. Nonetheless, the temperature should be amazing, the stadium is above average, and overall it will be a decent experience....Have fun!!

I'll be there in the press box. Looking forward to a good game and good atmosphere, although it probably won't compare to tomorrow night's game (sad face).

with a lowered field.  Not a bad seat really.  I only recall that maybe the seats didn't slope high enough but it certainly must be better than the lower rows of Michigan Stadium.

God, its been 26 years since that Fiesta Bowl win.
