OT: Favorite Street Fighter Character
So I'm playing Street Fighter two today, and I got to thinking about who my favorite character is, and it is definately Guile. there is just something about the mean ass airforce guy that i always liked. Ryu is easily the toughest to beat. When you get in a pinch, go with E. Honda. That mother fucker has a hand fight move that kicks mega ass. I also really like Ken, because he's a Great Lakes (probably Michigan,) guy, but he's also kind of a pussy version of Ryu.
Now, these are just the fighters from SF 2, so what are your thoughts on characters from the whole series, as well as these guys?
Chun-Li had the nicest gams, but I usually played as E. Honda or Blanka and did their cheapest moves for the entire fight.

Zangief was kinda shitty because he was so
slow, but I occasionally picked him simply for
the fact his name was "Zangief".
I'm trying to think which episode that was. Update: nailed it. It was the one with the Sklar brothers (who are UM alumni). But I just didn't remember who Ari was firing, because I knew it wasn't either of the Sklar bros. (Ari fires them another way.) I forget if that character did anything important in the episode. Entourage is overrated though.

as a Dhalsim guy, when I was just learning how to play. After I got my chops, I switched to Ryu. I remain a loyal Ryu guy to this day (I still play occassionally on the Wii).
When the later versions of SFII came out with the boss characters, I liked to use Vega a lot, as well.
Incidentally, has anyone even seen anyone use either Zangeif or Balrog on a regular basis? I don't think I ever ran into anyone who could use those two guys with any level of skill.
Zangeif has an awesome spinning pile driver that takes away like half your energy. My buddy would catch me with it all the time. Balrog was a puss-balls.
What are Ken and Ryu saying when they uppercut and do the spinning leg kick?
like "Sure-you-can" for the uppercut / dragon punch and "gonna-cut-right-through-ya" for the spinning kick, but those aren't the actual words. What they are actually saying is some japanese(?) mumbo-jumbo.
