OT: #EATING garden update and is anyone still in Miami for early dinner?

Submitted by MrSmith on
Hey everyone, Vincent Smith here. Just wanted to check in so you can see the new play structure in the Florida garden. I can't figure out how to post pics because the easy buttons are not showing so I put links. And the spaces aren't showing up either? The mini garden is new and a surprise to us. I guess we inspired someone because they came and added this section in the back. I felt very happy to see this because it means that we are still continuing to grow and inspire in my community. Pahokee is very rough and this was a total shock that things are becoming positive. http://i.imgur.com/25PyfGS.jpg http://i.imgur.com/3XsjgX4.jpg If anyone is still in Miami is there a meet up for late lunch/early dinner? If there's not, can we have one. Nothing too fancy but definitely healthy. It was a great season and let's focus on the positives. Seniors overcame a lot of obstacles.

If you ever come to Houston, make it be known. Would love to help out. Happy New year Mr. Smith, one of my all time favorites.

Mr. Smith! I've been hoping to contact you. I'm getting married in May and all my groomsmen are big Michigan fans (and fans of your efforts). I was hoping, for their gifts, to get them some combination of #Eating gear, as well as donations to your garden in their names. Is there any way you could write a quick note to them? My email is [email protected]

Thanks and go blue!

I'm in Miami it's not a bother. I want to share my fruit. No bother at all. Mgobloggers are the reason we even have a garden. Our website has eating gear and I will be adding the football heart (rib cage with the football) soon. It's teamgardens.org and there's a store link in the menu

Thanks for the update! I've been away from the board and stopped in today and seeing a post from you was like a gift! I'm so glad this project continues. It's so worthwhile.
