It's nice one station acts like the sport exists. Even if it isn't the station that carries the freaking Red Wings games. Michigan is also one of the best Hockey states in the nation. With multiple OHL teams, and the NTDP and USA hockey located in Plymouth, junior hockey is a big part of the Metro Detroit area.

Think about the four guys on the Wings who are from Michigan. The mulitple NTDP kids who end up at UofM. There are some huge names that are going to be playing hockey at the college and pro level in a few years playing in this area. Why not give them some exposure?

Last week, Maz tried to explain why Coach Cal (and is cheating) was acceptable to him, yet he can't stand Tom Brady who he goes out of his way to call a cheater (prob due to his limited understanding of the ideal gas law and the need for only 1, calibrated pressure gauge). He sounded moronic

a total write off. I would be happier had his job loss been at the paper but this has been one of those "we'll take what we can get" weekends  Although to get the win over ND was an exercise in futility when the basket seemingly had a lid on it. While ND had a basket like a black hole, it sucked in everything that got close to it.

But it was so painful every time. Not because he trolls Michigan; that is superficial and transparent to get more interest. It's just that he comes across as a know-it-all and is frequently underinformed, overopiniated, and just plain inaccurate in his predictions and post-game assessments.

I'm liking the morning show as well. With a bit more polish, I think that will turn into a nice way to spend the morning drive.

I fess up, fellas, t'was I who conscripted the dirty deed. I actually sacrificed a young male goat out in the mid-Michigan woods a month ago, per this "deal" with a dapper gentleman, and I hope you'll all agree it was worth it:  "In exchange for blood purchase by healthy mammal forthwith, and a) one victory over Indiana via Kat Chatman, b) 2016 NCAA tournament bid for UM and play-in game victory in same, c) arrest of Mateen Cleaves and Branden Dawsen, d) first round NCAA tournament upset of Thomas Izzo* team, e) firing of Drew Sharp from his radio gig; CONSPIRATOR hereby agrees to endure equalizing karma in the form of a) NCAA tournament loss to Notre Dame; b) an as-yet- to-be-determined Michigan snowstorm sometime in April 2016; c) release of debt owed by M. Dantonio* for his blood purchase of UM punt fumble at 59:50 of 2015 game, and d) cancellation of deal for one-night-stand with Gwen Stefani and Christina Aguilara sometime before July 1, 2016."  (* negotiating parties both agree they already know these two individuals; as either rivals, or ones with whom many similar deals have been made in the past.")

...for that hack.  "In the end, Michigan played like a team that really didn’t belong in the NCAA tournament."

Yeah, a game they led most of the way.  They lost to a higher seed after playing several games in a short time frame.  Clearly they didn't belong.  Michigan could somehow end up in the NBA playoffs and lose Game 7 to Golden State on a Curry 45 foot 3 pointer at the buzzer while being fouled by all 5 Wolverines and he'd still come up with "They don't belong" garbage.
