loses the game. The only chance we have of beating them isif TP just decides to ruin the buckeyes last two games all by himself. The kid seems like he might be a head case, maybe Iowa can get into his head for us, and he'll carry it over into next week. Prolly doesn't matter. Nothing boosts a kid qb's confidence like looking at a bunch of winged helmets runnnin around out there in the secondary. Sad times indeed.

The Big Ten Championship trophy (forgive what I'm about to say) awarded to osu in the Shoe rather than in the Big House. As much as I want Iowa to win I couldn't stomach seeing Osu hoist that award in our stadium after beating us bad. That'd be enough to make me want to jump off the press box.

Somebody explain to me why Ferentz called timeout after OSU's third down and then proceeded to run one play and play for OT. Big mistake in retrospect obviously, but I just don't get that.

Evidently, he didn't trust his QB to throw it from his own 32 in the final minute of the game, so he hoped they'd pick up a big chunk on the ground on first down. When it didn't happen he decided to let the clock run out.

Way to show confidence in your team by running out the clock with a minute left... I know he's a freshman qb but that's just horrible. On the road, Rose Bowl and Big Ten title on the line and you don't even try to win? Wow.
