OT: Does anyone have a himalayan salt lamp? They sell Michigan ones now

My wife bought 3. That is one of the few times I've questioned her judgement.

I'm annoyed the school ok'd the Block M to be used on this but refuses to ok Hover Helmets...I'd much rather have 1 of those.

I love lamp.

They are heavy as hell, don't let your toddler pull it down.

Salt "Caves" are a thing around where I live. Like, entire rooms with salt lining the walls, floors, ceilings, etc. Waddabuchabullshit

I have never in my life heard of a Himalayan salt lamp.  There go the much simpler, innocent days of my life I can never go back to.

They are a gimmick, but Himalayan salt, used in your food is worthwhile.

I'm skeptical. My wife bought one years ago. I love dark at night...she doesn't. I lick it everyday in hopes she won't notice that eventually it will be gone and I can have dark nights again.

Who is "they"?

I've always wanted to be one of those people that get paid to try things and give their opinions on them. Buy one for me and I'll let you know what I think.

If you buy this, you are being taken advantage of. And it looks really dumb. It's not a good look for the block M. 

So it's basically like a salt spa except not a salt cave inside of a strip mall and more like someone ritualistically dumped salt packets onto a broken lava lamp every day for years? Got it.
