OT DFW biography/interview

I know Brian is a big fan of DFW and many others have commented that they have read some of his stuff.

I came across this review of a new book that is basically an unpublished interview with DFW in 1996. The interview was conducted during a five day road trip with the author for the Infinite Jest book tour.

Looks like a good read.

should have a copious(2) amounts of footnotes and endnotes, shouldn't they?(3)

(1) (as well as press releases, poems, haiku, biographies, epitaphs, essays, and general expositions on the subject)
(2) this adjective springs associations of a prototypical stoner to my mind, though I don't mean to imply DFW had such inclinations, though my father once looked at his photo on a dust jacket and said "What kind of stuff does that stoner write?"
(3) rhetorical

I'm about halfway through and its very entertaining. Only quibble is a bit to much of Lipsky in there, but still well worth the price of admission.
