As a Chicagoan and Bears fan, I don't know what to think of this move. Obviously he's a considerable upgrade at QB, but the Bears have absolutely no one on the offensive line to protect him, not to mention a lackluster group of WRs. It's nice to see them pull the trigger, but I just don't think it was worth it unless you have more pieces in place than Matt Forte and Devin "Throw me the deepball and hopefully I'll get a PI call" Hester.

you benighted fools who still follow the Edsels. Think how us Broncos-n-Michigan fans feel? We're stuck with KYLE EFFIN' ORTON. THE MAN THREW TWO INTERCEPTIONS IN LIKE HALF A 4TH QUARTER IN 2002. THAT'S THE YEAR WE LOST TO TY WILLINGHAM. KYLE ORTON. Okay, I'll stop yelling now. It's just become a rough day for me, that's all.

As a fellow Bronco/Michigan fan, a rare breed, I gotta say, I'm liking this trade. Come on, Cutler is a freaking headcase, and Orton is going to be coached by Josh McDaniel, that guy...who coached Tom Brady and Matt Cassels. Not to mention they have an offensive line who allowed sacks on 1.9% of pass attempts last year, which is ludicrous, especially when talking about over 600 drop backs. Plus, 2 first rounders!

I'm also a Denver/Michigan fan. I think I like them because when Brian Griese played for them. But I for one am not happy with this trade. Cutler was to be the QB of the future and I blame McDaniels. He wnet out and tried to trade Cutler as his first move. You don't try and trade your qb right away. I may just be seeing this from my own view cause I live in MI but this trade wasn't good. Orton 's not very good and I don't think we'll get a good QB with those first rounders
