What a bunch of chicken shit bitches. Can't wait for Michigan to beat them again, making it 7 of the last 9.

Screw ND...who cares what they do at this point.

However, I would never consider them, or anyone else, for selection to the playoffs until they play a 13th game for a league championship.

Wonder whom they will get to make up for Michigan and MSU's loss on the schedule...can't help their TV ratings.

Not saying our guy is someone to be proud of, but Hollis really is a spore on the mite on the beetle in the turd from the ebola carrying monkey swinging from the top of a cage in sparty's vet school.

the continual courting of them to join the B1G combined with the pomp with which they anounced their rejections was ridulous.  Don't play them in anything and every B1G team gives up a good swim meet or lacrosse game or tennis match every year.  It costs ND 14 important potential opponents in every sport they play.

but also monumentally stupid.  They're watering their schedule down so bad that they will get no national credit for the wins the do happen to get.  DUMB.

Quote on where a neutral site game would be played in the future.

"“Logically, it would be Midwest,” Hollis said. “Notre Dame and Michigan State have a reputation for taking games to national and global locations. So I think anywhere on the planet is probably in play."

When you actually read the thing, it doesn't sound like anyone is actually chickening out, but rather that both teams are packing their schedules, and neither team have the same slots to fill when it comes to games past where the contract stands right now. Hollis comes off far more annoyed and pragmatic than chicken.

But, really, Hollis is right here. The megaconference shuffling and changes in scheduling in the past few years have messed with a lot of stuff, and this looks like one of the casualties.
