I stayed on for the women's championship! Oh well, I needed something to watch before the Daily Show and Colbert Report grab my attention.
Yeah, I didn't go that far. It was either last year or the year before that had a couple hot bowlers. Decided to go the safe route and catch the Vancouver-Chicago game.
I feel like such a shmuck that you guys watched this yet I didn't...
Wichita State really had a powerful team this year. There were tournaments where they won by 500+ pins and absolutely destroyed the competition. They even had a few tournaments where they averaged 1100/game (220 per person) for the entire tournament. That is absolutely sick.
Calumet is a decent team but wasn't really one of the best teams, they just made it through match play to make the TV finals. Its a shame, because the TV show would have been at least marginally more interesting if Wichita was bowling a team with a pulse.
Oh well.
