OT - College baseball game canceled in 5th, due to 49-1 score
I know it's off topic, but losing 49-1 in a baseball game, in the 5th inning is crazy.

Dude went 7 for 8 with 2 Home Runs and 11 RBI's. That is a career day.

I think it's interesting that the EKU game recap is basically just, "We won. Next game is later."
the boxscore. How many pitchers did KSU use in the first? Surely they must have pulled at least three pitchers in allowing a 21 run first.
One guy gave up 25 runs by himself.
And the game wasn't canceled, college baseball has a mercy rule of 10 runs after 5 innings. It's used for safety purposes as there is no use in risking injury to players in games like that. I read it somewhere a few days ago, but this wasn't record setting in terms of lopsided victories either, but did fall in the top 3. I'm not certain of the voracity of that statement.
