OT: Charlie Strong held some sort of emergency team meeting and allowed players to air their grievances
They've definitely had serious locker room issues since Strong's tenure began. Interesting strategy for turning things around. Let's see if it lights a fire under his team and helps him save his job.

No word on whether or not feats of strength were performed.October 15th, 2016 at 12:38 AM ^
Didn't Feldman report a few weeks ago that Strong was already fired even if he wins out and that Texas was already courting Tom Herman?

It makes me happy to think that Jordan Elliott picked Texas after he decommitted from us.

Texas won the national championship just 10 years ago, and were in another NC game shortly after. Michigan had recent losing seasons of 3-9 and 4-8. Guess you could say the same thing, why can't coaches win at Michigan ? Shows how important it is to get the right coaching fit.

Nobody is more arrogant and rude than the Ohio Stare fan base from my experience. But Texas isn't far behind!
Good luck to Charlie; lot of egos on that team that need pampering in my opinion.

Texas woes have to be on Coach Strong. Can you imagine a Harbaugh locker room where players are bitching about lack of effort from individual players, position groups, or coaches? Inconceivable. If you are not giving full effort, you don't play. I think Coach Strong must be too soft. If Harbaugh was in Texas with all that talent, and his meritocratic approach, you know they would be winnning.

By my calculations, the more Festivus comments, the better. The festivus episode "The Strike" aired in 1997. We all know how that year ended.
