Rising to the challenge presented by Everyone Murders.

"Honey. I am not rewatching the game for the fourth time, I am prepping for the UFR."

Do not disappoint. Some raw material.

Get a Bengal.  They play in water, walk on a leash, play fetch, and are just generally awesome.  Mine was 1/4 asian leopard and 3/4 tabby.  He's been gone for a decade and I still miss him.

Around $700ish IIRC, but we went to an excellent breeder.  If you do get one, and I highly recommend it, get a boy if you can.  They have a better temperament and are more fun to play with.

They require more attention than a regular cat though.  They're really more like dogs in most ways.  Mine would only drink water from a running faucet.  And he would steal food right from my dinner plate.

husband says no.  He is very suspicious of cats and says they are always creeping up on you-  So we have an evil rabbit who doesn't like men and has a wart on her eye.

he is a barn cat, meaning he will never spend a moment in our house.  he kills and shares more dead animals than i could ever count, keeping the barn and surrounding areas rodent free.  he will come when called, like a dog.  he is cool.  he is friendly.  even the dog likes him. he has a job and does with an EUTF (feline-kind).

Cats are dicks . When one of my four does something dickish I look at him, tell him hes a dick . Then give him a nice scratch and tell him. Quit being such  a dick .

The fuckers ate my bacon I left out this morning. If thats not a dick move i dont know what is .

and they are terrific.  The boy turned out to be more "freshman Steve Breaston" when I thought I was getting "senior Gabe Watson" but I love him anyway.  I don't even begrudge him the massive vet bill I had to pay just after his tenth birthday this month.

My browser won't let me post pics.  Boy is a brown tabby and his mom is a silver tabby.  They rule.
