OT - Best Stadium Chants

Submitted by SEAL Fan on

What are some of the best chants in college football? LSU's song for Tim Tebow ranks up there for me. Although it's not a chant, the Sheriff that comes on after the third quarter at Notre Dame cracks me up.

The whole chant:

Is that not a scoreboard? YES THAT IS A SCOREBOARD!
Is that not a 74? YES THAT IS A 74!
Is that not a 62? YES THAT IS A 62!
Is that not the winning team? YES THAT IS THE WINNING TEAM!
Is that not the losing team? YES THAT IS THE LOSING TEAM!
WINNING TEAM! LOSING TEAM! WINNING TEAM! LOSING TEAM!

Awesome.

If you're winning and you know it clap your hands! (CLAP, CLAP)... If you're winning and you know it clap your hands! (CLAP, CLAP)...  If you're winning and you know then your face will surely show it, If you're winning and you know it clap your hands! (CLAP, CLAP)

and then move on to if you're losing and you know it clap your hands and then point to the opposing student section.

It doesn't sound that cool in writing but to experience a well-choreographed version of it is phenomenal. Our high school basketball student section did this chant this year and many others, and we were so boss. I would argue that our student section was better than any other in the state of Michigan (for high school).

Should definitely take some inspiration from premiership football chants... some of the best i've heard. I somehow managed to get on the underground in london a few hours before an Arsenal vs Manchester City game with the train packed with the rival fans. Needless to say it was a intereseting journey and one i'll remember for a long time
