OT - Best Place for Burgers On Campus

Submitted by You Only Live Twice on

With this being a bye week, hopefully OK time for this thread.

Looking to get some MGo opinions on the best places, walkable from Central campus, to get a good burger.  Blimpy Burgers was a top contender, but it's been so many years since I've had lunch there, that when asked that question, I couldn't credibly give any advice.

Any suggestions that are more useful than my "Well a long time ago, the place to go was Blimpy Burgers?"

Frita Batidas.  Get the loaded beef frita and a side of garlic cilantro fries. Mouthwatering.

I also like Hunter House still.  More sliders than actual burgers, but a simple yet tasty option.

of good stuff here.  Thanks to all.

Fraser's, probably not thought of as walkable from campus - although I have, back in the day.  Anything in downtown A2, including Casey's, would be.

Well I believe the thread was answered with the multiple Frita Batido mentions (chorizo burger w/egg + coconut batido[like a milkshake]).  Be prepared to pass out immediately after.

Now sorry to hijack the thread a moment considering the caveat was walking distance, but...

Anyone ever find the time to venture out to Sidetrack in Ypsi while living in Ann Arbor?  Definitely worth the journey, and the actual best burger in the greater Ann Arbor area.  Of course you have to drive though.  Anyone else agree?

it's hard to beat fleetwood's 1/3 lb bacon cheeseburger w/ fries.  classic, excellent tasting burger.  if you're more adventurous, blimpy is next door, and frita's is not far away
