OT - Best non Michigan gift you received this year.
I figured we could use something else to talk about after reading that most recent post (holy shit). Anyways, my best non UofM gift was Ron White tickets for 2/24 at Michigan Theater. I have been warned about going to the theater, but Ron White is hilarious and it should be a good time. What did you guys get?

My brother and sister-in-law bought me an engraved crystal glass decanter and rocks glass set, the decanter was filled with Noah's Mill bourbon. They always give me the best gifts, it was very thoughtful and it is gorgeous!

I got a card from Mrs. Hatter. The card states that I get 24 hours without her saying no, no matter what I ask for.
Now she's probably thinking I'll come up with some depraved fantasy for us to do.
Nope. Buying a boat that day.

got a new Bluetooth speaker for the garage/basement/ wherever. My wife and I have a $100 limit for gifts for each other (the rest is spent on the boy), so I got the JBL flip 4 and so far it's pretty great. My other Bluetooth speaker is about 5 or 6 years old and the new one is just a lot easier to deal with. Sounds pretty good, though like lots of BT speakers in that price range it leaves something to be desired on the low end. One thing I really like about it is that it is fully submersible, so no worries taking it in the boat, by the pool, getting rained on etc. Even better, the battery says it lasts "up to" 12 hours, but from the reviews I've seen online, it will go close to 14 at half volume.

My wife told me she was pregnant with our first child. I cried like a baby. Then we told my mother, who also cried like a baby. For normal stuff we bought some new appliances, a cold brew coffee home brewer and a Michigan hover helmet. Pretty awesome Christmas this year.

Our first turns 9 months in just a few days. It has been an amazing year - babies are the absolute best!
