OT: Austin Jackson early returns
In a surprise move the New York Yankees sent Curtis Granderson back to Detroit in return for 2 donkeys, a dolphin, and Drew Sharp. Hank Steinbrenner said that he really likes Drew Sharps smile and feels that he can ride the asses while punching dolphins.Of course this was just a dream so don't take it out of context. And like Blue Voix said we probably won't know how good of a move this was until July.
AJax has been solid so far. He needs to continue developing his eye and patience. There's no way he'll keep up his avg due to his high babip, and he's on pace for a MLB record K's in a season. He's shown solid D as well.
I was always more upset about dealing out Polanco and Edwin Jackson than I ever was about Granderson. Though I love Grandy, he has really struggled (offensively) and also got away from the batting strategies needed for a true lead-off hitter. On that note, Jackson has struck out more than just about anyone in the league up to now, but I'm still optimistic.
Here's to hoping we can close in on those Twins over this home stand.

Now lets hope he can build on this.
2 - 4 with 3 runs scored and walk . That is how the line should read for a prototypical lead-off hitter. Good outing by Jackson tonight
It'll be nice to see if this kid can get it.
Carlos Santana if i can't take the field.
Voters like guys that start the season on the MLB team.
I'll take Heyward in the NL, Jackson in the AL.

especially not in the era of Avoiding The Super Two. anyway, i'm pretty sure Santana is the best position player prospect likely to get on the field in the AL.
