OT: Any interest in a NHL 12 PS3 league?

Submitted by redwings8831 on January 25th, 2012 at 3:29 PM

There has been some talk on traditionsportsonline.com (an awesome website for PS3, XBOX leagues for sports games, etc) of starting up a NHL 12 league for PS3. I'm not sure of the exact format but we are looking for  a group of people who would be committed to it. Post here if you're interstered and I'll try to get more info asap. For those who are interested in an XBOX league, one just started and I'm sure they would add more people.

Probably not more than 3-5 online games a week. We're trying to gauge the amount of interest before putting the work in to get the league set up. For a site that host tons of leagues for NCAA, Madden, FIFA, NBA2K, and MLB the Show, there hasn't been a steady, competitive NHL one for some reason.

Not sure how everything works as I never been in an online league but would definitely want to play.  Is there a link to the website where we could learn more?

If you're interested, what we have figured out so far:

1. The league will be hosted on tradition sports online (http://forums.traditionsportsonline.com/).
2. You'll need to register on the site (http://forums.traditionsportsonline.com/threads/new-member-applications-new-members-start-here.1162/). Say that you're interested in the NHL 12 PS3 league. They take everyone.
3. Post in this thread: http://forums.traditionsportsonline.com/threads/nhl-12-ps3-league.61374 so that we have an accurate count of how many people there are going to be.
4. More info will be posted over there.
