I don't know if this has been in the Alumni Association's "e-TrueBlue" publication prior to this, but it's here today.

Way to go Alumni -VOTE!

The Big Ten Network has put $10,000 for student scholarships up for grabs in the Big Ten Bobblethon. Each school's alumni association is represented by a bobblehead of a notable former athlete, and the bobblehead with the most clicks by July 31 will win.

Right now, Penn State is in first, with U-M's Charles Woodson's bobblehead in second. Take a moment to click onCharles Woodson and you can help us win! Play today atwww.bigtenicons.com/bobblethon.

The VP of Communications for AAUM is an old classmate and she said they found out about it and have been sending emails to regional club presidents, and the development officers of the 13 schools to send it in their school emails (which I also got).

If any of you went and looked in the last hour, Charles' head is bobbling all over the damn place. Looks like its going to fall off. The website link once again for those of you who haven't voted http://www.bigtenicons.com/bobblethon/tap/

Don't forget, you can vote 10 times (10 taps) every day so go back again tomorrow.

Guess it ends July 31st so we still have half the month to defend the lead.

This is like in Two Towers when the cavalry shows up at the end just as they are about to lose the battle.

BTW, someone should make sure they know to tap everyday.

Well we're #1 currently.  I just voted using two different web browsers ( I don't want to clear cache on my browsers for work related reasons.)  Finally!

Wow. Our alumni are powerful. Penn State is really trying, but if the alumni read the page and know they can come back every day, I'd say PSU is pretty screwed. If half the people who tapped today came back each day we'd still smoke them. Hopefully this keeps up until the end of the month and we can seal a crushing victory.

We've tapped so much that on Chrome the needle isn't even wiggling anymore. Not sure why it is on Firefox still...

You pretty much have to guess based on differences in activity. Like, if PSU took the lead again and was ahead by 2%, we know it would only take about that much over them for about the same amount of time to pass them again.

And I am sad, because our activity just went way down for no good reason. Maybe they're on to our cookie-clearing shenanigans...
