OSU vs. Wisconsin: Rivalry dilemma

So where does your loyalty lie? Do you want OSU to be undefeated when we play them? OR Is it so against your nature that you can't root for OSU at all tonight?

Barrett's been a good-but-not-great 21-for-92.  Wisconsin's been playing the horizontal game splendidly.  What the short field does is take away OSU's ability to stretch the field vertically; their receivers typically run vertical routes to draw the safeties away but they can't do that in the red zone.

This could go either way.

OSU was screaming that they were expecting a pass, and Wisconsin called a pass.  With a bad O-line and a QB who can't threaten with his legs.  That was downright Borges-esque.

Yeah the first few runs didn't go well, but that would've been the time to call a draw.  Whenever OSU expected a pass they yielded the middle to pressure Hornibrook from the outside, and they were in man.  Their odds weren't good but a pass had zero chance and the end zone was four yards away FFS.

Oh well.  My main reason for watching was to see if Wisconsin would reveal any weaknesses in OSU's game, and there were a few.  The tape will be invaluable to Harbaugh's staff.

Positives here is that OSU looks quite tractable; UM played much better than people think against Wisconsin, and at no point did they just march down the field like they did against OSU in this game.  OSU is good, but this is now 2 weeks where they had some trouble putting okay teams away.
