Orange Bowl Ticket Question
Do we know which sections are "Michigan" sections and which are "FSU" sections? Looking at stubhub/ticketmaster and there's no indication.
Also, all the tickets for sale are on only one half of the field, nothing on the other side.
Will MGoBlue have tickets on sale too out of the team allotment?

Sections 110-122, 209-222, plus some upper deck and end zone seating. Right now, tickets are $120 and $245.

Looking at MGoBlue, it looks like they're gearing up to sell tix. I'm guessing there'll be multiple options for getting tix and that doesn't include buying directly from the
Orange Bowl or from re-sellers.

I can't imagine a.) having enough money to go to this game, and b.) thinking it matters enough to want to

Flights from DTW are $500+ for any series of dates around the 30th. Ouch

Bought refundable tickets a few hours ago on Delta in anticipation... paid $780 each to come in on the 29th and out on the 31st... it was the lowest price available on the "grid" and there were very few seats available even at that price (non-refundable was about $720). I imagine everything is close to gone now.

Yeah I saw like $520 or $540 into FLL (on Spirit, which...no) this morning.

Off work. Let's chop off Georgia. That could cut some driving time.

Public Ticket Information
Pending availability, tickets to Michigan's bowl game will go on sale to the general public on a first-come, first-served basis as early as Sunday afternoon (Dec. 4) following the bowl announcements. Please check back Sunday for specific instructions.
If Michigan is selected to participate in the CFP Semifinal at Fiesta Bowl or CFP Semifinal at Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl, there will not be a public sale.
Student Season-Ticket Holders
Student football season-ticket holders will have the opportunity to purchase tickets starting Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 8:30 a.m. EST. Please check back for specific instructions after the bowl announcments.

OK this may be a stupid question, but since the email says students can purchase up to 8 tickets, I assume that means that non-students can use them, correct? (I'm wondering if I can bring NON-student friends with those inexpensive student tix).
Thanks.

Last year when I got student citrus bowl tickets anyone could use them without validation or anything like that so it would make sense that these would be treated the same.

Put in an order when they made the original offer to season ticket holders to buy bowl tickets a few weeks ago, and got confirmation an hour ago. Don't know where they will be (or what they will cost) but got the same price info as umbig11 just provided.

As soon as your tickets get charged and printed your seat locations will be displayed there. Tickets will be delivered electronically around Dec 15.

how do you know they're on one side but don't know which sections are the michigan sections?

Here's what's on StubHub ... almost all availability is on the "bottom half" of the stadium

I do not understand.

I am wondering if anyone has insight regarding the best way/cheapest way to obtain a few tickets. Should I rush purchasing them or will they go down on the secondary markets as the date approaches? I did not go to the beat down of the Gators last year, and I instantly regretted it as the game began. I'm trying not to make the same mistake again!

tickets will be $20

Can now request tix through MGoBlue.com. It says they are $120 and in NW corner.
