Orange Bowl Ticket Question

Submitted by nuck on

Do we know which sections are "Michigan" sections and which are "FSU" sections? Looking at stubhub/ticketmaster and there's no indication.

Also, all the tickets for sale are on only one half of the field, nothing on the other side.

Will MGoBlue have tickets on sale too out of the team allotment?

Looking at MGoBlue, it looks like they're gearing up to sell tix. I'm guessing there'll be multiple options for getting tix and that doesn't include buying directly from the
Orange Bowl or from re-sellers.

Bought refundable tickets a few hours ago on Delta in anticipation... paid $780 each to come in on the 29th and out on the 31st...  it was the lowest price available on the "grid" and there were very few seats available even at that price (non-refundable was about $720).   I imagine everything is close to gone now.

Pending availability, tickets to Michigan's bowl game will go on sale to the general public on a first-come, first-served basis as early as Sunday afternoon (Dec. 4) following the bowl announcements. Please check back Sunday for specific instructions.

If Michigan is selected to participate in the CFP Semifinal at Fiesta Bowl or CFP Semifinal at Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl, there will not be a public sale.

Put in an order when they made the original offer to season ticket holders to buy bowl tickets a few weeks ago, and got confirmation an hour ago.  Don't know where they will be (or what they will cost) but got the same price info as umbig11 just provided.

I am wondering if anyone has insight regarding the best way/cheapest way to obtain a few tickets. Should I rush purchasing them or will they go down on the secondary markets as the date approaches? I did not go to the beat down of the Gators last year, and I instantly regretted it as the game began. I'm trying not to make the same mistake again!
