Offseason Checklist
I figured we could talk about something positive (next year). I'd love some comments/suggestions/questions.
Anyways this is my checklist for the coaching staff to do during the offseason,
- Recruit!
We still need more DB's and/or Jelani Jenkins, and William Cambell would be nice to have for sure. Also, convince Bryce Mcneal to come back or steal another WR or two.
- Teach, teach teach.
I have a feeling last off-season was a lot more work than teaching, I mean when we started the season we knew literally 5 plays it seemed. This year the coaches can build on the playbook, including more plays/options. I think this will help the players a lot, and it will make the team better.
- Know the players better.
Rodriguez admitted he never had enough time with the guys, and I get that. So be able to spend time with the players. Learn about them, have them learn about you. Interaction and communication will go a long way.
- Study film.
For most of the coaches it was their first year in the Big 10. Now we have tons of video's/film to study for both our benefit and for beating other teams.
- GET HUGE!
BARWIS-IZE those new recruits!!!
Thoughts?

This list has really opened my eyes to what needs to happen this offseason. Thank you for sharing.
You could probably add the following to the list:
-Hydrate!!!
There really is no sense in dying from dehydration when your state is surrounded on 3 sides by fresh water.
-Sleep!
My mom always told me that I perform best after a good nights rest.
-Eat a good breakfast
It is the most important meal of the day
