Offense - 2013

Submitted by Blazefire on

Redshirt Junior and highly experienced super-recruit Devin Gardner takes the snap from the winner of a veteran offensive line battle for starting center. RS Senior LT Taylor Lewan, dominant and forceful team captain drives a massive, cohesive force into the opposing defensive line, clearing a pocket full of gaping holes. Gardner, in all his experience, checks his Zone Read perfectly. Is the end crashing? Where are the Safties? His options: Hand off to True Junior Justice Hayes, running out of the backfield, who has already put up career numbers. Or flip it to #1 Heisman Contender Demitrius Hart in the slot, and watch him run and run. Or, of course, he could put those super-recruit legs to work himself, if the End doesn’t crash, and take it all the way.

Oh yeah. 6 to midnight.

Fred Jackson doesn't like Taylor Lewan's running style.  If Fred Jackson isn't willing to say something nice, that's a really, really bad sign.

Nevertheless, as long as Lewan continues to hate donkeys, and is willing to treat them accordingly, I'll remain a huge fan.

Are you somehow implying that DB is going to give RichRod the push before the bowl game?

There is nothing left for anyone to write, ever, on the blog, about Michigan, or RichRod that will ever surprise me now.

Okay, someone post a haters gonna hate below this that's cool and original. Thx.

Why would you let Rodriguez coach the bowl game? You can him, send him packing, and name someone from his staff as interim.

I don't know that teams ever let a guy they've fired coach the bowl game. Besides, UM will lose the bowl game 99-52 and then all the RR guys will SCREEEEEEEM because the offense looked so good scoring 45 points in the second half.

Mallett to Clemons, or McGuffie taking handoffs from Feagin, or Turner and Vlad sandwiching WRs over the middle, etc... I've decided to think about 2013 in 2013.  Not a knock on the OP - just suffering from attrition fatigue.

From what I have learned today about Hayes, I would actually have Dee taking the zone read and have Justice in the slot.  This offense is going to be fun to watch.
