Not a big deal but I guess T.R. and RJS will take visits.

Submitted by no joke its hoke on

Per Twitter Terry Richardson and RJS say they are going to take their visits mainly because well why not? lol I dont think its a big deal and TR even twitted they are sold on UM and not to worry but I just thought I'd share. I would post the link not sure how.Just  passing along what I saw but don't panic. I think if I was in their shoe's I would probably do the same.

I bet they committed just to take up spots and then when all of the 5*s are gone everyone's going to back out! What if we actually have 0 recruits because all of them are just pretending to be committed?!?!? I'm sure this is the work of Jim Tressel with the NCAA and the free press in an epic plot to stab Hoke in the back, making way for Les Miles to return in a blaze of glory! DAMNIT SHEEPLE WAKE UP!

...except Kalis had made it clear that he was having reservations (and even called to decommit) before ever visiting UM. RJS and TRich are both reaffirming their commitments to UM constantly and recruiting others to the program. They're highly unlikely to leave what they themselves have helped to build.

I am not going to freak out until 2012 on this.  Worst case - we have plenty of LBs in this class  (and in the 2011 class as well).  And I'd bet you money that if Trich left too, we could get Wayne Morgan to come.

Someone call Waggles and make sure he's breathing OK.

You're right. I'm not a true Michigan fan because I don't think it's a big deal that a couple 17 year olds are taking advantage of 5 free vacations. I personally think they will end up here, but if they don't, Beavis is right. We're in on a lot of good talent that we can pick up.

Sorry for wasting your time, Chetty.

nothing is set in stone until signing day anyway, so why shouldn't they be allowed to take visits. Of course there is always that little something in the back of ones head that worries some might see something they like better while taking visits, but I honestly can't blame these guys for wanting to take advantage of this. You're only young once, and these would be awesome trips to take with your pals.

I would take the visits for sure. Even now in business, you always take the trips when they are needed, offered, free, any reason what-so-ever.

if anyone gets worked up, just remember when you were 17 and how you wanted to see places around the world. let the kids enjoy the process! they are michigan sold and solid, have fun guys!

My parents helped me "do the right thing" when I was straying off the reservation.  Odd how somes' perception of what a commitment  means, is.  Officials are meant for a player to visit the selected "finalists" and then COMMIT.

I hate people like you.

You seem like the type of person who is too insecure to allow his girlfriend/wife/boyfriend/horse to do things on their own.

Thanks for the compliment.  Certainly wouldn't want a parent to parent.  God forbid.  I think they should be able to sign half of their names on their NLI in February and go make sure that they want to put down the rest after a few more visits.

You might want to read Sam Webb's comments about all of this on GBW and I guess indirectly, the Michigan staff's position.  Erie, the similarity.  I guess I am waiting for a grey box thingy but thought I would bring you up to speed.

They have every right to take visits.  Absolutely.  Schools have every right to then doubt their sincerity and act accordingly.

Its like job interviews (sort of) like if you already accepted a job, but another company wants to fly you out to cali and put you in a hotel and pay for your food im sure most people would do it just for the free trip, food etc....so im not worried about them taking the trips

Why wouldn't you?  Tap out some SEC hostesses?  I think its a good idea.  Enjoy the trips you've earned.  Just don't knock anyone up or pick up an STI, you don't want that distraction.
