The B1G has 5 really good backs this year. Probably the best in the country at that position.

Don't forget Langford...next Leveon Bell possibly.

It's both sad and hilarious that Penn State's version of Special K has all but replaced their fight song. Touchdown? Zombie Nation. Fumble recovery? More Zombie Nation.

They really started this whole "NFL Lite Experience" contagion.

Does Clemson ever win a big game?

Ask OSU and LSU

Onside?!

Marshall with two muffed punts and a fumble. I think he has some ball security issues.
November 15th, 2014 at 3:14 PM ^
4th and 18 and you fake a point. The end may be near for Beamer at VT.
November 15th, 2014 at 3:17 PM ^
Gators about to win their 5th SEC game and have a shot at winning the division. That should keep Muschamp at Florida and removes some of our competition for head coaching candidates.

Also lololol going to OT
November 15th, 2014 at 3:18 PM ^
Minny just loves to shoot itself in the foot on 3rd and short.
November 15th, 2014 at 3:20 PM ^
I'm really not sure I agree with kicking the field goal here.
November 15th, 2014 at 3:21 PM ^
I don't understand this decision from Minnesota. Makes zero sense to me. You're basically giving OSU 20 yards of field position.
November 15th, 2014 at 3:21 PM ^
You get 7 here but use all the clock, then it's a waste. Now they can get 3 and hope they get the onside.

But you can kick a field goal from farther away than they are right now. Rather than try to score a TD from the 20, they're going to try to do it from about the 50. How does that help you?
November 15th, 2014 at 3:26 PM ^
Kill was trying to save clock. FG makes it a one position game. Either way you need to get the onside. Take the easy points now (FG) and try the hard stuff if/when u get the onside.

Except it does the opposite of save clock.
November 15th, 2014 at 3:37 PM ^
Probability of getting 3 was greater than getting 7 at that position. Yes, a FG then makes the TD after the onside even more difficult. But scoring a TD there would eat valuable time (1:25 left) and again, it's not even a guarantee you get 7. QB has thrown a couple picks already. Minny kept shooting themselves in foot on Third and short. I liked the call - even if I'm in the minority.

Da fuck is Jerry Kill doing? You're deep in they're territory, go for the TD incase you need to keep a long field goal after the onside kick. Not a great strategy here.
November 15th, 2014 at 3:22 PM ^
So stupid

I disagree. You assume the 7 is a given and they don't use all the clock. I actually like this strategy.

Huh? You need a touchdown and a FG. You can kick a FG from anywhere inside about 35 yards. Instead, you decide to kick it when you're already at the 20, and take a shot at getting a TD starting at the 50. It's sacrificing a big chunk of yardage and clock. As he said, so stupid.
November 15th, 2014 at 3:32 PM ^
What's the point of scoring 7 if it uses all the clock? You don't even get a shot at the tie because the TD ate all the clock. Take the gimme FG and if you get the onside you can go for the TD. Don't expect everyone to agree with this, but I liked it and see the rationale.

Scoring a TD from the 20 is going to use LESS clock than scoring one from the 50. This isn't even debatable. By kicking, you also take away your chance to win the game by scoring two TDs.
November 15th, 2014 at 3:39 PM ^
But your spending all the time on getting the first score when you need two scores. Take the quickest and easiest score available. Which was the FG. Either way, your fate relies on the onside.

1st down if it fails still MInny ball.Might catch OSU napping.
Edit- OSU ready for a fake.

And the Gators get their punt blocked when all they had to do was basically get it off.

November 15th, 2014 at 3:25 PM ^
And then it's all wasted anyway after that pathetic onside kick attempt.
November 15th, 2014 at 3:27 PM ^
...what? Pretty good? Good? Ok? Not bad? What do we make of them. I'm going with pretty good - to - good. Yes?
November 15th, 2014 at 3:29 PM ^
A 50-50 call but Minny doesn't throw it well so I agree with kicking FG in this case.
November 15th, 2014 at 3:35 PM ^
Exactly, they don't throw it well, so go for the TD now while you're at the 16 and kick a longer FG later instead of having to drive 50 yards in a minute for a TD.
November 15th, 2014 at 3:31 PM ^
is finishing in such a Florida/South Carolina way.
