Night Games Thread

Most people are still nursing their drinks I am guessing but there are still some games being played. Does anyone want to talk about those to take our minds off of what could have been?

Auburn's secondary is terrible.

Hackenberg is carving up Wisconsin.  Our loss to PSU isn't looking nearly as bad as it once did.  This may also lead to only 1 BCS bid for the Big10 and should help the bowl matchups.

I hate Alabama with all get out.  On any week, the teams I want to lose the most, in order:

  1. Ohio
  2. MSU
  3. Alabama
  4. ND

But here I am having to "root" for them.  Would much prefer Auburn to win.  But would much, much, much prefer Ohio to not go to the Championship game.

I'm in my living room in Tucson, watching the Alabama / Auburn game and anticipating the upcoming Clemson / South Carolina and Arizona / Arizona State games.

I hate Notre Dame ... can't stand watching them.  Doesn't matter the opponent.

I have no dog in the UA / ASU game, but beware the Sun Devils ... they're pretty good.  I suspect UA is going up to Tempe (100 miles north of Tucson) and is facing a pretty tough game.

Unexpected things:

 - Alabama has not exactly played like a team favored by 10 points or so throughout the entire game. Auburn's #6-ranked rushing offense really has done a good job overall.

 - Sewing machines on the sideline in the SEC are apparently a thing. I did not realize the you could have a tailor / seamstress on staff per the NCAA rules.

BOB is a horrible clock manager. Could've easily burned another 10 secs off with a poorly timed TO and by trying for a FG instead of runnig a play

Safety for them?  Naaah, screw it... let's just score a touchdown instead.

Also, this is the first game Amari Cooper's gone over 100 yards, which I found surprising.

Hey look! Overtime in the UGA game! That is what should have happened with our game!

Hey look! The Bama game is about to go into overtime! That is what should have happened with our game!

Oh well. This program and fans will continue being cursed until we are ready to compete with Ohio and stop losing close games, but actually win them for a change.

Michigan's chances going to overtime against OSU, who was averaging 8 ypc and Michigan missing Gibbons, were slim. Better to go for the win. If he had made it, everyone would have called it genius. Go be a pussy somewhere else.

Sounds familiar, except they're going into overtime.

The unfortunate part is, you just know that if Auburn wins, Brady will be unfairly chastised for going for two because look, overtime works.

Just like Hoke SHOULDVE......All the momentum i with Auburn now..at HOME just like Hoke..Malzhan has done in one year what Hoke will never do....Why cant we have a coach who knows how to  WIN Instead were left with a average MAC coach and 5 loss seasons

You must have been watching a different game than I was. I saw a Michigan defense that could not stop Ohio State at all. I saw Michigan with a kicker who did not even dress. I also saw a Michigan QB who was clearly hurt and playing on with nothing but determination. I am not sure why these conditions would be conducive for a Michigan victory in overtime, so I can only conclude that you were watching a different game than I was.

Great, now people are saying "Look at Auburn! They played for OT!"

Different situations. Auburn is actually getting stops on D and Alabama doesn't have a competent kicker. Better chances for Auburn in OT.
