Nico Collins Confirms M as Leader
Only a few months ago he said that a top player leaving Alabama for a northern school was laughable.

will even be around at Auburn by the time signing day rolls around. I think he's the most overrated coach in college football and how did he even have a team with so much hype to be ranked #6 in the preseason after going 8-5 the previous year? We all saw last year's train wreck coming
Malzahn was the real brains behind Auburn's last national title. He was also responsible for a turnaround of 3-9 to 12-2 with a national title game appearance in his first year as head coach. He'll be there at national signing day unless he gets into a wreck on a motorcycle with a coed in tow.

Auburn will fire you faster than OSU....You could say RR but he only went 12-1 in his dreams.

Yeah a Cam Newton coached by Gus Malzahn. Let's not pretend like that wasn't a perfect marriage of player and coach.
And bagman.
sounds pretty normal for alabama standards.

"only if the daughter is marrying the brother of her mother"
Just saw this on Jeopardy. Not cheating, just taking advantage of my knowledge.
What is marrying up in Alabama, Alex?
+1 I think I laughed at this for about 15 minutes. I miss the old mom jokes.
We will never be able to get recruits out of Alabama--particularly those Bama and Auburn are recruiting. /s

I even put the /s at the end even though I didn't think it was really necessary.
And then some.
But MgoBlog will be retelling that tag line over and over again for an aggregate total of at least 300,000,000 sissy points.
"no, YOU'RE wrong. There is no way that any player worth a lick is leaving the state of Alabama to go to Michigan. It's just a fact that you're failing to accept."
Is this a letter from a Bama girl trying to convince her brother to stay home? There are just so many ways to interpret this.
WHOOOOOSH!!!!!
Jesus H if we get both him and DPJ... Brandon Peters could win the damn Heisman next year.
My money would be on him for 2017, yeah.
What do you mean by pretty high? Care to list the examples of this happening.
LaQuon Treadwell had top 3 of Michigan, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State. Then suddenly...Ole Miss. Although that stands out as an exception for multiple reasons to me.
Here are a few of those reasons right here:
I don't interpret that as pessimism from people so much as that the beginning of the signing period is more or less the "safe" marker for the time when these things become definite - that, and some people just don't follow recruiting as intently as others, which I get, as well as the learned cynicism, which I admittedly share. I won't blame people for not holding their breath necessarily on verbal commitments in the recruiting world, especially ones made far in advance.
That being said, it is nice to see Michigan's inroads via camps into the southern US starting to drum up serious interest.
It's one small step for man..
Good. We'll need him when we have to play Notre Dame, MSU, and Ohio State all on the road.
If you have any issues with our future schedules in football, you can direct them to [email protected]. I agree with you by the way, it is quite silly that this is actually happening
Include Warde Manual on the cc: line. He's the one that added ND... And that isn't any less brutal than what Brandon allowed...
It would appear that Michigan is gaining more and more legit attention from top tier recruits, with some vague and not so vague references from recruits stating that if Michigan starts winning big (i.e. Big Ten championship and playoffs), that these top tier recruits could really start falling into place. Kind of a "duh" thing to say, but basically the house is getting closer and closer to being rebuilt. It's a pretty exciting time to be a Michigan fan.
This is a pivotal season for just that reason. 17 will have some serious rebuilding/growing pains; we need to put success on the field right now.
Fortunately, this is not a task that requires an unlikely level of progression.
