I don't think the mental makeup that lead to burnout will change in 12 months. Or 24 months. If he returns before he deals with his approach to coaching, another premature departure is probably inevitable.

Is the obvious choice. I would definitely be happy to see him go so he wouldn't be owning us on the field and in recruiting anymore.
It would be a smart move for him - Florida is a warm state, which means it would be extremely difficult for his players to find ski masks at local stores - hence a reduction in off the field issues.
I bet Foley's on the phone with Dantonio right now.

With the athletes Florida already has in place, they're not going to change schemes immediately. I would expect a hire from within the program recently (Mullen, for example), an Urban Meyer disciple (Kyle Whittingham), or another spread offense genius (Chris Peterson). They're not going to switch to a pro-style offense or a triple option like Paul Johnson's. That would involve rebuilding a program that's already at the top of its game.
