I was also thinking of the scene in Blazing Saddles where the outlaw gang first attacks the town. Two thugs hold down an old lady, while a third punches her repeatedly. She turns to the camera and says "Have you ever seen such cruelty?"

Feaster, that's when they were "workin up a number 6 on 'em". I had to work on campus last week at MSU, and as soon as I turned on Redcedar, I pulled out the 3 million scoville unit pepper spray.

You know, I guess I understand the initial response to this report, but after reading it I'd like to think that everyone would take the high road. This is a case where 15-ish men assaulted a group of individuals that were having a potluck. Was I there - No! Do I know all the facts - No! But I do know that this is very disturbing and not something to make fun of. Rivalry is one thing, humanity is another! I don't understand or support making light of anyone who is hurt in a manner that they had no control over. I am truly sorry that any individuals got hurt and I hope the buffoons are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Sorry for the downer - but I keep thinking, "that could have been my son or daughter"!

If there were serious injuries, I would be totally behind you. What I think people are reacting to is the utter absurdity of the story. It's like after the Spartans trashed the pot luck one of them turns into the camera and says "What's in YOUR wallet?"

i knew winston was going to be kicked off the team when reports surfaced that one of the guys in the ski masks had a knee brace and was swinging his crutches trying to crack some skulls
