For some reason, I thought of a probable of 16 or so (with a few surprises on the side) added from that list with the recent data from the last few weeks.

It maybe wishful thinking on my part, but since it's Coach Harbaugh, It may be possible we get hordes of elites rolling to Ann Arbor come signing day.

*Oh please let me be right just this once about recruiting*

She doesn't want her son to go North. Maybe she just needs to meet the staff, but she wants her son to stay close to home. Not to say she brain-washed her kid, but it's known that Aubrey wants to come to Michigan more than she wants him to come to Michigan. When that letter came to the house, that got her ooglie googlies all riled up.

I'm not saying Aubrey still wants to commit to Michigan, but it's hard to win against Mom. Coaches need to win over Mom to have a really good shot at him again.

This class certainly could be amazing but currently having zero top 100 guys when osu has 11 isn't ideal, by star average we only have the 10th best class in the country.  The ability to close strong is there but we sure as shit need to.

Also Mcaffrey has spent the year plummeting from top pocket prospect to now #8.  Just having a terrible year or not progressing like people would like?

I'm guessing we realistically get 6 guys off that Top 100, assuming our other recruits dont move up either. That gives us a solid class but comparing it to OSU's isnt going to make anyone feel good. McCaffrey falling is concerning but we also have Peters waiting in the wings. Between those 2 Michigan is in good hands.

Two guys who I want but dont think will come are Browning and Holmes. Just feel like they are instant game changers

Jay Tufele is an important recruit (*I don't think Solomon is coming back). I think it will be very important to get a DT that can be in the rotation almost immediately. This will be especially true if Hurst does not come back next season.

I'd really like to add Deron Irving-Bey too and clean up the state.

hed be a big addition.  i agree, it appears unlikely solomon signs back up which is unfortunate bc hes got a shot to be a real player.

i still like paea more at OL but i the staff obviously knows what theyre doing.  hopefully theyre right with hudson (and potentially irving-bey) bc they not only need to hit on some DTs this cycle, but could use early PT from 1-2 (and i dont envision instant impact players or early rotation guys when i see tape of hudson and irving-bey - theyre solid prospects but more in the godin mold where it likely takes several years vs mone type)

I wouldn't necessarily consider Paea fixed at DL just yet. With this staff, it's clear that they're going to give people work and consideration at multiple positions.

Especially with the quality of recruit and "athletes foremost" recruiting mindset, we will be acquiring players who are more than able to be placed in multiple different spots.

For example, Onwenu, it still isn't clear where he fits, and not because of bad play/insurmountable competition (the usual culprit behind switches), but because of his athleticism-per-size.

I've even heard rumors that they don't mind having him spell both OL & DL for the time being!

But I didn't know Tarik Balck was ranked higher than Nico Collins. I thought Nico was closer to DPJ. Can't wait to see this years class with this '17 class as seniors and juniors. This team will be rolling!

As I read down the list I had to stop because I know

signing day is way off and I would rather be pleasantly suprised

when it happens.  ( Not that I had any doubts ).

Reminds me of Christmas when I was a kid, my buddy had a bad-ass

Kuwahara BMX and I so desperatly wanted one because my bike

was an old, rusty  hand-me down.  Money was tight back then

and I should have realized that under the wrapping paper was a

Kmart special.

Fast forward to now, I know the allure and resources are off the

charts with Harbaugh and company when it comes to recruiting but

I have to keep from getting my hopes up until it happens.

Every time we get a big name it's like getting that Kuwahara every

year.
