New Safety/Viper prospect
Sam Webb says that we are looking for 3 safety/vipers in this class and he mentioned Pitt commit Paris Ford whom we continue to pursue... with mutual interest. Junior and mid season highlights below are impressive... want.

Narduzzi should have a nose for DB's. He worked for one for years.

Well played sir.

I think once a prospect commits, the crystal balls are locked. You might be seeing the crystal balls before his Pitt commit.

Of those, 7 are 3 stars and our class is currently ranked #10 on 247. We only have two in the top 100 and zero in the top 50.
I'd be willing to bet that all future commits are from 4* or higher players and that at least a couple of the 3 stars don't end up in the class on signing day.
Assuming we beat OSU's ass and end up in the playoffs.

Hopefully you are right, because there are players Michigan just can't say no to. We lead or are top 2-3 for more guys than we have spots.

are a 4-star on at least one site

Says it all.
That event would, in my opinion, open the door to a lot more terrific kids to GO BLUE!

I don't know if this is at all accurate but it feels like a third of the guys who signed in the 2016 class were virtually unknown, or barely on our radar at this time last year. This should be a fun few months, both on and off the field.

For sure. Although this year we seem to be "in" on a lot of higher rated guys at this point than at the same time last year, there were a bunch in the 2016 class that weren't really mentioned until January.
With the amount of 4 and 5 stars that are being projected to come here already, and the inevitable craziness in the offseason that should see players decommit and interests shift, I can't wait to see how this one shakes out.

Must be a pretty good way to get a conversation going.

With Don Brown and Tom Skerritt, our defense would be unstoppable...

First, at about the 1:25 mark on an interception return, his teammate destroys a guy, stands over him, and promptly gets a flag. Then there's all the yakety sax punt returns during the Rain Bowl. And his teammates are destroying guys and celebrating wildly throughout. That looks like a fun HS football team.

Then playing for Michigan will seem normal.

I don't understand why that play at 1:25 drew a flag. Seemed like a clean hit.

Cato June-style, I think.

He appears slow, but I'm used to watching Jabrill.

Considering that landing him would take him away from Pat Narduzzi, I'd happily have him.

Holy smokes that kid can hit

Michigan is apparently right in the mix for this kid too: http://247sports.com/Player/Isaiah-Pola-Mao-81331
