new mgoblue.com video w/ RR interview, highlights of Koger/Webb, Tate, Denard, others

Submitted by gpsimms not to… on

RR interview. Minor headache (pun intended), plus you already knew that.

Few clips of Tate throwing downfield, and Martell Webb looking very large and athletic.

Koger makes a nice grab, too. Man I hope we see some 2 TE sets this year. Make the defense bring in a few bigger guys and have Webb and Koger run away from 'em. Or if the D goes small, have Koger/Webb eat a couple and let Minor run for touchdown(s). (!!)

You may be familiar with it.

also, also, I apologize to forum editing Gods who deemed my original title was uninformative. I've now made it ultra-informative.

Koger and Webb have the potential to be a huge mismatch. It seems like it would be a wasted opportunity not to use that to our advantage. If they're getting some touches in the first few days of practice, I think that bodes well for them being included in the games.

ummm, do those look like shoulder pads to anyone else? i really thought they couldn't do that. didn't a school just get in trouble for wearing padded under armor shorts?

Looking at the player's numbers in those clips, Tate was up against the first team defense and Sheridan was against the second team. Denard's completion was against #4 and I think #16 so I'm guessing third team/walk-ons since I didn't see those numbers on the defensive roster.

I don't think this will surprise anyone but it's reassuring.

After watching last years videos and interviews.... and this years so far...Id say Rich looks sort of pissy and definitely has more of an edge on him in the interviews than he did last year.

last year was more laid back, 'awe shucks guys, this is how it is' but his comments and demeanor this year are much more aggressive and he seems edgy and focused. I like that.

And I would expect no less after the year he has had. I like it as well. I want a guy who can get angry and use that for motivation. I want the team to feel that way. I know I do. Shit, some bitch at Walmart is scraping her ass off the floor as the result of getting in between me and a package of blueberries that was on sale for $1.99 today.

No blueberries? NO PEACE!

(I did feel kind of sorry aftrward, and gave her 5 bucks toward the repair of her wheelchair)

The thing that stuck out in this video to me was 2 things. Kevin Koger looks like a big WR. He is very fluid in his hips. Second Jr. Hemingway had like 7 yards of seperation and took the ball over the soulder in stride. I think that if he was healthy last year he could of been big and everyone is putting him behind Stonum for this season because of the speed. IMO Jr. has better ball skills and will have a bigger year.
