holy crap. What's worse is that almost every one of those turnovers was reviewed...and confirmed that it was a turnover.

Painful stuff, at least three touchdowns were at stake. On that long pass play, there's no way I thought he'd fumble. First time I've seen that.

I bet that ref is still muttering, "The ruling on the field is confirmed, first down Iowa State" in his sleep.

Most were inside the redzone and they never came away with any points. It's bad enough to turn the ball over eight times, but to get beaten by a team that can't score anything inside the redzone at least five times its pitiful.

That was one of the most ridiculous games I've ever witnessed. Luckily, that game was on at the bar that I went to and I was conveniently seated next to a table of about 15 Nebraska alum. It was probably the funniest group of disgruntled fans I've ever heard in my life. If Saturday would've just ended after that game, it would've been a great day.

alums or fans? OR do you live in Nebraska? You were at a bar and there were 15 Nebraska alums--I call BULLSHIT. Those who graduate here usually stay here, and there is no pull from out of state students. Even in midwest farm country--Nebraska is not a highly regarded university.

but I do now. That was painful to watch.

Honestly, if it weren't for 1997 and all the whining those 'huskers did back then, I'd feel bad for them. But, no...

I've seriously never seen anything like it. Not even our Notre Dame game last year was that bad. Their D, once again, was very good, but they were done in by their offense for the second week in a row, except this time they moved it well too. It has to be an exasperating season for the Husker fans. They should have won at Virginia Tech, and their D held Texas Tech to its lowest yardage in like 6 years but they lost by 21.
