NCAA says facebook wooing violates recruiting rules
Posting this because I know a lot of people on here try and follow some recruits via Facebook and other sites. To me this seems nearly impossible for the NCAA to manage though.

That's honestly absurd. I really doubt the NCAA will be able to do anything on it and will probably give up on it.
All of the athletic departments and coachings staffs across the United States?
Yeah, right.
Personally I love this. When we were recruiting Pryor I had a Facebook group exactly like this. Someone claiming to be Pryor (not entirely sure it was him) joined the group. We all know how that went but he commented and said stuff like thanks for the support and this obviously is a great fan base. I went through his groups and he was in many others including one by OSU hillbillies. The NCAA can't do anything about this, and I doubt a group on facebook is going to influence a recruits decision. oh yeah my group had over 2,000 members
This isn't really new, either.
