NBCSports.com Preseason Poll
They have Alabama repeat against OSU, with Pryor grabbing Heisman.
Michigan 7th place in Big Ten.

Don't agree on OSU in final / with Heisman and I don't agree Michigan 7th place either.
An Alabama repeat I agree with.
You disagree with 3/4... I disagree with 4/4.
They also have Notre Dame at 23, which I thought was odd, but then I realized it was an NBC poll.
Won't last too long after we beat them in South Bend!
Go Blue!!!!!!!
The only part I care about is the "*", which indicates "will make bowl game"
Wrong! Michigan will not finish that low.
I disagree, wire to wire #1 is difficult. 1999 FSU and 2004 USC I think. Alabama is going to get everyone best shot. Oversigning and pimps are going to bring the Tide down.
I agree, and although they have been recruiting like crazy, they lost a lot of their defense, which was why they were so good. I like Florida to win the SEC.
Please be right. My brain will explode from the pure obnoxiousness surrounding me if you are not.
I don't understand why NBCSports (and Phil Steele) have Terrelle Pryor as their favorite to win the Heisman. He's a great runner but just an okay passer.
In 2009, he had 2,094 yards passing, completing 56.6% of his passes, with 18 TD's and 11 Int's.
When he played against Michigan's bad secondary he didnt exactly light it up. He went 9/17 for 63 yards, with 1 TD, and 1 INT. He only completed 53% of his passes. The only way he killed us was on ther ground with a net 74 yards rushing which translated to 3.9 YPC.
What the heck? How is he Heisman material?
the other teams ahead of us on the NBC rankings must be frick'n awesome!!
Yawn.
Honestly, 6 or 7th is a pretty good finish for Michigan, and I'd be happy with that (granted I really, really hope we finish ahead of MSU). Even Ohio State making the national championship game is reasonable, or at least not completely UNreasonable. However, calling Pryor "the ultimate weapon" is absolutely bat-shit insane. Instead of worrying about the "lowest W/L total we can have and not fire Rich Rod" at this point I'm curious to know what is the absolute worst Pryor can perform and still win the Heisman.
I'll admit I drink the Michigan kool aid but 6th or 7th? I just don't see it.
I will stake my MgoPoints that Michigan is top 4 in the Big Ten this year.
Yeah, I'm thinking 4th or 5th. OSU, Wisco and Iowa will be consistent enough to take the top 3 I think, even though I wouldn't be surprised if we beat at least one of them. PSU or MSU might take the 4th spot (since MSU doesn't play OSU) but I think we have as good a chance as either of them for #4.
I do not thnk Purdue will finish that high.
I would say 6th place, flipped with Michigan State, but then I saw Purdue at 5th. Is Purdue going to have a good team this year?
If you don't count USC in 2004 (if you count LSU, who was the BCS champion, as the NC in '03, or if you vacate the 2004 title from USC), the last team to repeat was 15 years ago. Alabama is a very good team, but not nearly as dominate as the Tommy Frazier Cornhusker's (or even USC from 2003 and 2004).
