NBC Coverage of College Football
Sucks!!
It's obvious they only do 7 or so games per year. They aren't good at it. Thank goodness there is only 1 must-see game on this network every 2 years.
Halftime show featured a couple game highlights followed by about 5 total highlights from 3 other games across the country going on TODAY. the rest was meaningless NFL chatter. It's Saturday, NBC; not Sunday. You have all day tomorrow to talk about the NFL

NBC depends on the local NBC affiliate in South Bend to coordinate ND broadcasts. That's why they're consistently pretty terrible.

better then the abc broadcast last week missing plays or coming back to plays halfway through.

NBCeeIt! Isn't this thing amazing?

They don't need to plug it so many times, they already own it.

and pots of gold for the Irish. Thank you Michigan, I did not want to hear about another bullshit Irish legend for the rest of my life.
PS - The game was classic enough without resorting to cheap theatrics. Thanks to the kids and coaches on both sides for given us an entertaining Saturday.

shit on their rainbow didn't we? Hammond was fucking brutal.

Why did they only have one angle on the "touchdown" where Floyd dropped the ball before crossing the goal line?
September 11th, 2010 at 8:09 PM ^
he dropped it before he got in. don't know whether its a touchback or nd gets it on the one yard line if it's reviewed

that is all.

and slant their coverage. It's why we get the "ray of sunlight to help Notre Dame D" comments. It's all about the benjamins.

The homerism wasn't as bad as a thought it would be until the second half. Hammond is wrong on pretty much every play with respect to every detail other than run or pass.
My favorite line? Jonas Gray comes in and the color guy equates him to John Clay. Really? Big Ten OPOY wouldn't see the field at ND?
There are way too many commercials, Jebus!

Dont forget the impact that James Mouton had on todays game.

And Ray Rountree.

watch the ND game every other year with the sound on, except for the face that all the yelling sound sound really crazy to my neighbors without any sound on. They didn't even start talking about Denard's numbers until the last drive. Add in the fact that they kept toting NBCee-it (an amazing feature also known as ZOOM) and kept saying 'James Mouton,' I'll look forward to not having to listen to that for another 2 years.

I was wondering why they struggled with Jonas Mouton's name...its not that hard. Then they were on the NBCeeIts dick...cmon man! And the rainbow...ooooh man I was gettin a headache. Good thing the W made it go away.
