NBA Draft Projections for Michigan Players
The folks at NBA Draft.net pretty much spend their lives speculating on that very subject and have projected three Michigan players in the 2013 draft.
Glenn Robinson, Fr., SF, #15 to Atlanta
Trey Burke, So., PG, #25 to San Antonio
Tim Hardaway Jr., Jr., SG, #31 to Washington
I'm a little surprised Burke and Hardaway aren't rated higher, particularly Burke. From a selfish perspective, they would be less likely to leave.

He has potential certainly, but I don't see how he is a borderline lottery pick at this point. First off, as far as an NBA body, he certainly has the bulk, but at 6'6", he is on the lower end of the height spectrum for small forwards. He's an athelete for sure, but I'm not sure he is top 1%, which might justify being a lottery pick.
His contributions to the team are really valuable, but because Beilein is not asking it of him yet, we haven't seen him iso or dominate the ball and create his own offense. I have high hopes that he could grow into that next year, but we haven't seen him do it yet. And I am surprised that experts think he is worthy of such a high draft pick without seeing it yet, either.

I would trade 3 of our starters leaving after this year for a Final 4 run/National Championship

to be successful at the next level. He will have to pick up his defense as do 99% of college players. I would happy if the Pistons picked him up.

so they can team up with Donnal, Irvin, and Walton next season. Now wouldn't that be something?

I realize that your post is mostly in jest...but I actually think we need one of them to go pro to accomodate all of the incoming freshman, assuming jordan morgan stays for a 5th year.

Since Hatch was moved to the 2014 recruiting class we have room for everyone. No one has to go pro.

Robinson actually has been a very productive player in my opinoin and has showcased a lot of talent and skill to go along side his potential and NBA body. The reason he isn't putting up 15+ points a game is because coaches never draw up a play for him to score the ball. As people have mentioned, he is scoring 11ppg with hustle points such as running the break, grabbing offensive rebounds, hitting open threes. The team is loaded and Hardway and Burke know the offense so they are the first option. Stauskas is a natural in the Beilein offense so he fits in easily. As the year progesses Glen and Mitch will become much more involved in the offense. More plays will be drawn for them to be the first option and he will show why he is being projected to be 15th overall in the draft if not higher.
