Nate Johnson now at CB

Submitted by Wolverine Devotee on

Nate Johnson is now at CB per Sam Webb.

Pretty sure it was mentioned on WTKA this morning.

He has switched from #25 to #17.

There are now FIVE FOUR players donning the #17.

Carl Tabb, man. There's a blast from the past. Mini-rant: One of Lloyd's shortcomings was that you could pretty much always tell what was coming next. If memory serves, there were large contingents of receivers who screamed "this is a run play" or "don't bother covering me" when they ran into the field. Which is weird, because Coach Campbell developed a lot of 1,000 yard NFL receivers.

We should be decent to good at corner this year. Between the young talent in Long and Hill and the experience in Watson we should be okay. The lack of experienced in depth should be the biggest worry.

agree with this or poo poo it, but from what I've heard Long has looked really good in coverage, and the coaches want him to be more physical on run support. Just something I heard, and I think corner will be OK, and not the concern that Zordich would have everyone believe.

Means Perry, Oliver Martin and Schoenle are the real deal more than anything else.

Nate will still contribute greatly on return teams, unless he struggles with fumbles.
