Mywan Jackson

Scout says UNC is leading for Mywan Jackson now.

I don't think it's a big deal if we don't land him.

I just hope the guys from WLA agree with you or else your opinion is going to be discounted as meaningless and they might attack you personally.

...you sure don't seem to have a problem laughing at Marques Slocum's intelligence or questioning Dann O'Neill's work ethic.  And then to show up on a random post and throw out that statement, which is appropos of nothing, is curious as well.  Hopefully, this can end the back and forth on this before it devolves any further.

Re: Mywan Jackson, my only concern is that the team seems a bit thin at safety.  I've seen him listed as S, CB, WR and QB.  If he's primarily being recruited at a non-safety position, then I think U-M has the numbers this year and last year to cover.

H4H, why do you think it's not a big deal (not a personal attack, just curious)?

A) You have never laughed at Fuck Lion?

B) I observed his soft appearence, never typed a word about his work ethic. I think he could be great if he hits the weight room hard. I was just observing that he may need to hit it harder than some others.

I do hope this ends you guys coming onto every post with your opinions and flaming every other opinion that isn't your own. That would be good for all of us. Your opinions are not any more or less valid than anyone else's. Also, opinions.

to see how many threads you CAN TURN into an WLA crybaby bitchfest.

Always a productive use of the free access to message boards, and much appreciated by posters that couldn't give less of a shit about some personal issues various posters have with each other.

I don't know THAT much about Jackson, but he had an impressive offer list (Auburn, Illlinois, Colorado, Missouri, Nebraska, UNC, South Carolina, USF), so was a bit more enthusiastic about him than other 3-stars. He was a DB prospect for the most part, no?

Shouldn't you have capitalized the "you" in "you CAN TURN" for emphasis?

I was just hoping this would get the WLA guys off the backs of new commenters and make them realize how awesome! it is for new commenters to have their opinions called "meaningless" and "appropos of nothing". It is possible that my comments aren't interesting to the WLA guys, but that doesn't mean that they are invalid and shouldn't be posted. And new commenters should feel comfortable throwing their two cents in rather than feeling intimidated by a certain few who go on and on for 25 replies about how awful a comment was.

I can accept that.

My commenter name is obviously poking fun at the Fuck Lion comment made my Slocum, which was hilarious. I made this moniker before he was kicked off the team by the way...

Basically, we are all Michigan fans (minus some trolls) and we all want the best for our team and players. I just think if we could take it easy with the bashing of the comments it would be more productive. It has been a tough year and we are all a little on edge with the great unknown (our future as a football destination) and we shouldn't really pile on eachother. I have a sense of humor about most things, but I just thought you guys got the wrong idea about my comment about O'Neil. I wish him the best and I hope he becomes a dominant lineman.

I'd like another cornerback and he seemed the most likely, but if they can pull in Robinson or Hawkins or whoever that would be fine. Also, Jackson is one of those kids who talks about wherever he's just been as the best place ever, so he could change his tune on his Michigan visit.
