The silver lining: if we finish 4th or 5th in the big ten we get a chance to bash in Wisconsin's skulls in the big ten tournament. That's almost worth it to me. (Rationalizing, I am)

That doesn't mean every bro won't come out of the woodwork and rant about how great sparty is and how they "been on" whatever the fuck that means. You obviously don't live in West Michigan or a neutral/sparty-heavy area.

Oh wait, I don't either! I moved to STL I forgot! Fuck yisss.

Dude looks completely uninterested in being involved on either end of the court when he's in the game.  Beilien needs to have a come to Jesus moment with him.  Sit him the rest of the game or something to make a point.  Either play hard, or you're not playing.

This stretch has been brutal for the team, but to just not even show up against your in-state rival.... who the refs have indeedv allowed to hand check and grab at will.  But what the hell did they expect?  This was going to be way more physical that Wisky and the starters and bench look like they've never seen anything like it.

You know...if I had to choose now of the NCAA tournament to take a dump in the game of basketball id choose now...so hopefully this team is just going through growing pains and will get it together for the tournament. That will show how good of a coach JB is...

Right, everyone would choose that.  But, taking a dump now does not mean that they will be better in March.  Taking a dump now and taking a dump in March are not mutually exclusive.  These tough losses don't seem to be leading to improvement.

Why is it that every road game, someone just doesn't show up?  It's like everyone has to take their turn except Burke.  Tonight it looks like THJ is on duty.

And this is why its sad Trey isn't coming back next year.

All the youth is showing up with every single big game that we play as the conference grind wears on. This team will not be the same next year, and with Trey Burke to run the point and Walton backing him up we could do something really really special.

I'm not contemplating doom and gloom, we are still very good, but this is not an elite team that can win it all. Elite teams do not get punched in the mouth this many games in a row. They have moments and then turn it on. Michigan is regressing, not progressing.

And look at Kentucky this year? In decades and decades of basketball it's only been done once. And that one time was with back to back recruiting classes that not only ranked number 1, but had one class that was higher ranked than even the Fab 5.

Not ever good freshman class is going to have the caliber of players Kentucky had last year. Even they had trouble reloading that.
