Submitted by EastCoast Esq. on

It has now been revealed that former 4-star DE Auston Robertson was suspended on April 9th due to a charge of third-degree sexual misconduct (h/t Garrett Fishaw).

You may remember Robertson as the highly ranked Spartan recruit who "re-opened" his recruitment temporarily after a previous charge of battery delayed his signing.

Of note, Auston Robertson was the #2 ranked player in MSU's 2016 class.

Dantonio did a lot of the same things, but they won.  He pulled guys out of jail to play, let guys guilty of assaults and waving-guns-on-the-street back into the program, etc.  So if he goes 8-4 this year, you'll get some bullshit pieces about Dantonio surviving the toughest year of his coaching career and coming out the other end even better.  But if he goes 4-8, then he's gone.

Well, they've had four, one for a guy who was busted on HS for assault as well, and the other is 3 guys that was probably covered up by a couple members of the staff. Michigan isn't a saint, buy a drunk touch at a bar and whatever thing is going on with Lewis is not, thus far, equivalent

Little Brother took over a vacant house, partied too hard, got a little loose around the edges, talked a bunch of shit. Got cocky.

Karma has now caught up to Little Brother.

Big Brother has awoken from his slumber and is back to reclaim his house.

Hell is coming.

All I can say is, the only thing the sparties will have to cling to going forward is looking back at the fumbled snap in '15, because that will be the only fond memory they will have against Harbaugh.

It's fucking amazing to see how fast that program melted down after we got Jim on board.

On a day when this very unfortunate and ugly news comes out it is announced that Coach Harbaugh and the team will have a private visit with Pope Francis.

When MSU was landing these star DL from Illinois like him and King, I wondered why we didn't go after them. Now I know....

Sounds like Dantoni sold out

The 2015 game convinced me Dantonio sold his soul for the success he's had against Michigan. But it seems like the devil has come back to demand his due.

Everything that Dantonio built over the last decade has fallen apart in the span of less than a year.

Dantonio's been in East Lansing for a while, lots of incidents, but I think this is the first repeat offender.

This could be fireable, but not in Dantonio's case. Its a huge fuck up.

I'm not one to be overly critical of coaches and discipline, I like when coaches take tough cases and give them a chance at a good life. But its a thin line between that and comproming morality and the safety of students on campus for the sake of winning. I still wouldn't put D in the latter category but its a step towards it.

Out on the left coast here, people expect D'anofrinio to be fired. I have to explain MSU fans and their win at all cost inferiority complex means that he will need to do much more to be at any risk of discipline. The good news ( if any) of MSU's recent success is at least I have not been asked about " UM's scandal"

Late Friday evening, Meridian Township Police posted a message on their Facebook page and blog that they are trying to locate Robertson. They asked the public to contact Detective Sgt. Brad Bach at 517-853-4800 or by email at [email protected], or by submitting an anonymous tip on their blog (meridiantwppolice.blogspot.com). During Friday morning’s hearing, Bach testified that police were concerned Robertson could be a flight risk.

Let's me get this straight....So this asshole players gf was driving him n the victim to her house, he walks her in and commits this crime, while his gf is outside in the car?! That's just a bad person...So MSU had 15 players not dress not including Robertson, so that's either alot of injuries or alot of potential criminals.....I feel bad for corley, his HS mates ambry n Lavert are ballin for GoBlue n he's at msu, but he made his choice....If there are more coaches involved, I think dantobio loses his job
