MSU crowd cheered the UM score vs. Nebraska
I was at Spartan Stadium, and the first time they showed the UM - Nebraska score, it was tied. People just kinda whispered to each other. The next time they showed the score, UM had a big lead and to my surprise, 90% of the people there cheered. It was... weird and surprising.
It seems like the fanbase isn't quite as petty about its hate for UM as Dantonio is. Or maybe winning is mellowing everyone in East Lansing.

Sparty deserves to lose the title game and watch Michigan get a BCS bid while they play in Florida. It would be really, really great to go to RCMB and read how they got "screwed out of a BCS bid by a team they beat."
Then, a week after the season is over, they deserve to hear their coach say he would "crawl on his hands and knees to Columbus" just before he gets hired.

This statement is flat-out false. I married into an all Sparty family (then later GTFO), and they are the most bitter, angry UM-hating bunch of shitbags ever. They only cheered b/c it gave them the Legends title.

...you escaped that without becoming bitter yourself. Because that would be kind of ironic.

I thought it was strange at Michigan Stadium that they seemed to be avoiding the MSU score. Was that to be kind to the 'Braskers?

I hate going to that little shit hole for the Michigan games. I can't imagine going there to watch a state game against another opponent. Shower off that douche friend.

I realize Dantonio will not root for Michigan because of his position and I do not think that makes him a douche or a dickhead, but thats just him. If I was MSU I would have cheered for a Michigan win because it means the NW is a no stakes game where they can rest key players that have a few dings. Also this sets up another week of preperation for most likley a potent Wisconsin offense.

Dantonio wants the Ohio job. He can't tell the press he is cheering for Michigan. Ohio would not hire the guy.
