MSU's Corey Tropp INCH Player of the Week
http://insidecollegehockey.com/inch/2009/12/14/inch-first-shift-week-10/
Only 7 minor penalties. Leads the nation in goals and points.
Seems to be making the most of his second chance?

This should be OT, especially for that bastard.

I hope he flames out when he tries to go pro.

That make me question the just nature of the universe.

Dude should be leading the Washtenaw County Correctional League, not he NCAA.

He should be Ingham County's responsibility! I have family in A2 to worry about.

It's funny because he should be serving time for attempted murder. Pretty soon MSU uniforms will come in stripes, though.

Between Tropp's "second chance" and those of Winston and Jenrette, not to mention their rather odd way of "partying" up there, I was thinking more along the lines of Misdemeanor State changing from green and white to orange jumpsuits.
If nothing else, the visual effect would be stunning.

it's great that he's doing well. Obviously that hit was among the worst things I've ever seen in sports ever. I don't know if I would have given him a second chance. But since he was given one, it's nice to see that he's not repeating past mistakes. I'm not going to hate on the kid, without knowing him, because he goes to State and made one enormously stupid decision, I'm not going to root against him on his second chance.
That being said, there is no way he should have had a point, let alone a goal in his lone game at Yost this year and I hope that in the next 6-8 games against us in his career, he ends with no more such things, that we beat them by a combined score of about 55-2 and that he's on ice for every goal against.
