It would serve Morgan Trent well to try and move to free safety in the NFL...he has all the skills to be a good one... big body, speed, good tackler, good instincts, takes good angles of pursuit and has experience on one on one coverage...he would be a great NFL safety, kind of like a more physical Mark Carrier. That said, he will probably fail as a corner...not quick enough, a bit slow in change of direction, doesnt move his hips fast enough and not flexible enough... do people talk to these kids about positions switches before the draft?

Autograph at the senior bowl practice to day. I have a good friend that's a coach that was at the practice today and he knows I'm a Big UM fan so he got Tim Jamison and Trent Morgans autographs for me. My coaching buddy says Jamison is a Beast ans is killing the South's OLine Oaklahoma's Left Tackle. He says overall The South is a better squad and thst Pat White has serious zip on his passes.

Carrier was not known as a big hitter, physical type... cheap shots aside... Trent could be a big hitter at free safety and play clean too. The only comparision I was making was in body type and instincts...

Would Trent to safety be like moving Cato June to linebacker? If it happens, and it works, we can complain that our coaches should have thought of it. Watching Witten beat a linebacker would not have been embarrassing.
