More Harbaugh stories from team meetings
The Detroit News has a story where a few players discuss what it's like having Harbaugh as a coach. There are a couple great stories of Harbaugh being Harbaugh included. Link
This one is from Desmond Morgan:
Still, to this day, the one that stands out to me the most is he was talking the night before the game and said, 'You know, a lot of people talk about you either look at the glass half-full or half-empty,'" Morgan said, smiling at the memory. "And he goes, 'I don't know why people do that because my opinion is, if you don't like what's in your cup, then empty it out and fill it up with something new, and if you're going to fill it up, might as well fill it all the way up.'
and this one is obviously Jake Butt:
Special teams coach John Baxter had a four-foot long wooden pencil in the meeting room. Tight end Jake Butt remembered the day the pencil paid the price of being in the same space with Harbaugh. "Coach Harbaugh was demonstrating to the offense how we need to punch and step at the same time when we block, and he has a podium he uses sometimes to hold his notes," Butt said. "He just went up, and he's like, 'This is how some people do it,' and he kinda punched it real softly. "He's like, 'This is how it should be done,' and punched this podium, sent it flying across the room, hits the pencil, breaks the pencil. And we're all sitting there like, 'Whoa, what just went on here?' It was hilarious."

Harbaugh is the guy in your office who is WAY TOO EXCITED about the new project senior management has assigned the team... And I love him for it...

It was so funny because every quote attributed to Harbaugh in there is like the Onion. If you don't look at the source carefully, you might go about your day thinking it was 100% true

in a 17-10 victory. Hilarious. And, hopefully the real game goes much the same way. Go blue!

Why agonize over how satisfied you are about having half a cup of anything, when you can dump it out and do your best to refill it, all the way up this time?
Priceless. It really is profound advice. Fits in with his refusal in pressers to use the word "satisfied." Constantly try to do and be the best.

there was a coach that could will a program to greatness, it's this guy. He's absolutely crazy, but like a fox. With the advantages in recruiting, facilities, tradition, etc that Michigan provides, he will build a dynasty.

John U. Bacon should already have enough of these stories to launch a best seller.

is probably just waiting until Harbaugh leads us to a National Championship so he can tell the stories about how Harbaugh reacts to that.
