How did RVB become the official  press liaison for the team?  Does the press just always want to talk to him or does Hoke send him out there because he knows how to work a crowd of idiots? I think we may see him coaching some D-line somewhere down the line.  He seems like he has the right mindset and temperament (and coachspeaking ability) for it.

Intelligent coaches will always let the players they feel represent the team the best do the lion's share of the speaking.  Also, some get stage fright and some don't.  For example, how many people here get nervous during public speaking class?  Some guys like speaking in the spotlight and are good at it.  Some don't and aren't.

I lilke seeing players get an opportunity to prove that they are, indeed, "leaders and best" in real life, too.

I think it's because he's a senior, and basically a 4th captain. He just missed out on being an official captain, so he still gets to show he's a leader on this team.

Martin speaks a lot as well, as does Molk. Both are captains.

Koger does pressers, but I'm guessing the reason he doesn't do as many is because you have to send Denard in there as the QB.
