David Molk is Rimington Award winner as nation's top center
Congrats David! I think we all agree the award went to the right guy. Nice to see Michigan players get awards again!
Edit: To no surprise, he is 1st team Walter Camp All-American too!

Absolutely.  The difference is very obvious when you see a player from another team interviewed - "I've done a lot for my team" and "I think I deserve ____ award", etc.  Our young men are always very humble and respectful of their teammates and coaches.  It's great to watch them get rewarded for their hard work and perseverance!

What a legacy of leadership this class will leave for the team. I am happy to see Molk getting some recognition. You would think the media might have noticed.

He had to win the award, did you see all of the plays where he pulled and went to the outside for blocks during the season.  And other than the bobbled snap between him and Denard against tsiO, did you ever see any of his snaps go horribly awry.  Molk hands down was the best center in the country and worked his butt off all season.

Molk is awesome and hilarious. I can just see him telling Hagerup that he is a better center than him and the Rimington proves it! Also... There is no one I'd rather see rip the limbs off of Rosenberg than Molk. Can you imagine?

Tremendous honor for Dave Molk!  That kid came a long way from a lowly recruited 3 star or whatever he was.. but rankings can not measure a player's heart and will.  I cant wait to see him play on Sundays.

Congrats and well-deserved.  Just a great leader at UM, one who overcame so much turmoil with the coaching staff but never lost sight of his and his team's goals.

Molk has been through it all. Losing, injuries, coaching changes, and even quarterback changes. He is the glue of the team. Glad to see the him get to achieve some success with the team before he graduates, and also glad to see him get some individual honors. All-American Rimington winner is big time, they'll have to call Tom Brady up to change that "This is Michigan" video now. If someone has to call Tom fuckin Brady because of something you achieved, that is pretty legit. If you watch the videos from 1 or 2 years ago, Molk was kind of immature and rash and over the years (like when he dropped an F bomb that completely missed, lol) he's really grown into a great leader for the team. Here's to hoping he has a great NFL career.

Brian to pull out his post of Penn St in 2008 when he picture paged Molk doing a reach block and predicted that Molk would be good (I think that's pretty close to how it went down, anyways). Great call, Brian.

Molk will be missed next year. Beyond his great skills and leadership, he was always fun to listen to when interviewed.

Congrats on a job well done.
