I've ever heard of. Looks like the card was written by a 4th grader. What's worse, is they obviously know nothing about Michael Ferns being an honor roll student - otherwise they wouldn't have wasted the effort.
Maybe "baller" is Mississippian for "grad student in engineering."
He's got to crank out 500 contact letters a week, so the emphasis is on quantity and speed, not quality and message. Plus he can put his kids to work at home for free.
That is not an "a". It is clearly a "9". Thus, the message is "You're 9 BALLER." Either someone thinks Ferns is younger than his is, or this is an invitation to a billards tournment. See, it all makes perfect sense now.
Really, that has to be an April Fools joke. There is no way that's real.
"Baller" is spelled incorrectly. The correct spelling is, of course, "balla."
