Supporting the team does not equate to pretending they don't need to improve. I'm talking about the language being used. Maybe I'm the only one who thinks this way, but I try not to post stuff here that I wouldn't want the players to see. Who knows if they check mgoblog? I can only imagine how Irvin would feel coming on here and seeing his "fans" say he sucks at basketball. Maybe he would just shake it off, maybe he wouldn't.

Yes, but calling someone a "bum" is a personal disparagement, which we would rather you did not use in reference to players around here. Criticizing play is definitely acceptable, but if you prefer to be intellectually lazy about such things and use personal insults, I can definitely mercifully cut the time of your account short.

For Minnesota - 48.44%

For Michigan  - 40.54%

The 2-14 from beyond the arc is really standing out at the moment, but just under 12 minutes left, eh? There are elements of the same unnerving patterns from certain games this season, mostly the losses.

Minnesota is not good. We are at home and playing like pure Charmin. Doyle cant be the only hard nose player on the team. Spuke's defense is beyond a liabilty.

I get to see this garbage. Last game gave me a glimpse of hope fighting to stay ahead with 7 to go. This last 2 minutes just reaffirms that everything about this team is terrible at the moment. Donnal needs to sit the bench always.

I'm honestly shocked this team is coached by Beilein. They literally are everything he isn't. No help defense, shooting is horrid, no leadership, no hustle, offensively stagnate, and they turn the ball over like they want to. Wow, this is just bad.

We have no toughness about our defense. We do not shoot above average and are without a real post game. I understand that we lost a bunch of players but this is not a well coached team thus far. We are straight soft.

I get that the shots aren't falling, but there is no intensity on D, no one getting mad, no talking to one another. Burke or Stauskas or Novak would have had an aneurysm being on the court with teammates who play so soft.

And Mark Donnal might be super athletic but he's going to have to toughen up if he ever wants to be somebody. Good lord, it's like watching a pool noodle play in the post.
